Suits & Smiles, Providing Business Attire for Men in Need

Project Smile is proud to launch Suits & Smiles, a program designed to provide interview & work attire for men in need. Suits & Smiles serves men in the greater Boston, Framingham and Worcester areas. Our goal is to empower low income men to attain the jobs they need to improve their lives and become financially independent.

This important service is offered to men of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, including recipients of public assistance, the disabled, recovering addicts, veterans, those recently released from prison and others who face barriers to acquiring a job and retaining it.

Suits & Smiles provides a personalized styling experience where men are outfitted with professional clothes for job interviews. Men will receive individual attention from a volunteer personal stylist who will work with them to select the most appropriate clothing. Men will also receive additional attire to wear for work.

If you are a social services organization, shelter, community group, job training program, etc. and would like to partner with Suits & Smiles to obtain men’s clothing for the men that you serve, please contact Catherine Pisacane:

Suits and Smiles is located at the Anna M. Cole Community Center, 2nd floor, 24 Heath Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.

It is a very short walk from the Jackson Square Orange line T stop.

All services are provided on an appointment only basis.

All sizes welcome!

Suits & Smiles is seeking donations of new and like-new business attire for men. This includes:

  • Suits
  • Dress shirts
  • Dress pants
  • Blazers
  • Ties
  • Dress socks (Must be NEW) & professional shoes

If you would like to donate, please mail donations to:

Project Smile
PO Box 336, Hopedale, MA 01747

OR, to drop off in Hopedale or at our Jamaica Plain location, please email:

Donation drop-offs are by appointment only.

Clothing must be new or not more than 3 years old, on hangers (if dropping off), recently cleaned and in immediately wearable condition. Please be sure that all items are without stains, pet hair, holes, odors or bugs. Our program does not have the resources to sort through clothing that may be unusable.

We are excited to provide an important service and we need your help to ensure that only clothing in the best condition gets donated, so we can distribute it to men who need it the most. Thank you!
